Works of Art

Laura creates work for indoor and outdoor settings including private homes, public offices, institutions, exhibitions and special events. Every sculpture is original and unique and can be designed for a specific site or purpose ie: to celebrate, commemorate or simply to feature in the landscape, garden or parkland.

Portrait Commissions

As a starting point, Laura sketches with wire in front of the model to capture an immediate impression of her subject. She then returns to the studio along with all the other reference material she has gathered at the sitting and continues to develop the work, carefully preserving those first impressions at the core of the sculpture. Working closely with photos throughout the process to ensure the character and individuality is accurately portrayed, the artwork is only considered complete when Laura is satisfied there in a sense of presence in her work.

Depending on scale, it can take from a few weeks to several months to produce a finished sculpture. For a consultation, pricing or general enquiry please contact Laura Antebi. All types of commissions considered. As well as undertaking commissioned work Laura also has a selection of sculptures available for sale.
